Our Students are Tackling Mental Health 解决心理健康问题
Student wellness is our main focus at YCIS Beijing. Our teaching staff pays particular attention to our students’ mental health and always takes steps towards to ensure that learners are supported and provided with tools to manage stresses and anxiety that comes with academics and daily life challenges.
学生健康是我们北京耀中的主要关注点。我们的教职人员特别关注学生的心理健康,并始终采取措施,确保学生得到支持,并为他们提供管理压力和焦虑的办法,以应对学业和日常生活中的挑战。
At last year’s Global Community Day, when everyone gathered on our campus to celebrate our international community, Lower Secondary students organised, with the support of their teachers, a wellness conference called “U R OK”, a project where they addressed different mental health challenges and also offered tips and advise on how to deal with them.
在去年的全球社区日,我们聚集在校园庆祝我们的国际化社区。初中部学生在老师们的支持下组织了名为“U R OK”的健康大会。健康大会旨在解决不同的心理健康问题,并且提供解决问题的提示和建议。
During the conference, students ran a series of talks where they focused on a variety of topics such as bullying, stress management, suicide, friendship, and self-harm. Their insightful talks have been recently featured by Timeout Beijing Family on its online magazine. All YCIS Beijing students who took part in this project are included, sharing their respective topics with the community.
在会议期间,学生们进行了一系列的讲座,讨论了各种各样的话题,如霸陵、压力管理、自杀、友谊和自残。他们富有见地的演讲最近被《Timeout Beijing Family》杂志做了在线专题报道。所有参与该项目的北京耀中学生都被包括在内,与社区分享他们各自的主题。
